What X-men comic book should I start reading first?
I'd like to read some x-men comics, but I really have no experience with comics and therefore need some help with my selection... I'm not wanting to spend any big money on some super rare ultra promo edition or anything. Just a good starting place would be nice to know. Also, are there certain ones I should get depending on my favorite X-men? Which would be Shadowcat or Nightcrawler...
The best starting point for new readers into the modern X-Men is Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men. You can get the trade paperbacks off amazon.com for about $10 for each volume (which each contains about 6 issues). This series also focuses on Kitty Pryde pretty heavily

The hobby of collecting baseball cards can be likened to an art form. To acquire a collection of superb cards you look through the many cards which are available. This is the various auction houses.
You will need to have an idea when an auction house is having an auction with baseball card collections and cards being part of the auction. This idea while it can show you some really fantastic vintage baseball cards will prove to be somewhat problematic in getting hold of the desired card.
This is mainly due to the fact of the bidding which may go on about the card from very enthusiastic baseball card fans. As some of these people have quite a lot of money that they have set aside, the price any of these baseball cards can rise very quickly and quite steeply. If you are not able to actually buy any vintage cards from an auction you may still want to attend one of these affairs.
By attending an auction you can gain an idea of the various prices which vintage baseball cards have the ability of commanding. You will also get to know the various criteria which are looked for in these cards in order for them to be deemed as collector’s items. So you see the auction by itself can act as a learning experience.
There are some baseball cards which as vintage baseball cards are known to whet the appetite of baseball card collectors everywhere. These cards are ones that depict the baseball legends like Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and even Honus Wagner.

Are there any good baseball card shops in Cooperstown, NY?
I'm visiting for first time in a few weeks. I collect vintage cards and programs mostly 1950s-1970s. Just curious if there are any shops worth taking the time to visit.
Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown has some good cards. I have bought some from there.
