Can I use an HDTV without getting different service?
March 24th, 2008 | by Kevin |I have digital cable (with the box) from Comcast. If I buy a new HDTV will I have to get different service? It’s very confusing. I really want a flatter tv with a bigger screen.

For channels on your tv cable you want things like discovery hd then you will be watching.
The tv cable box and your tvs coax input this use splitter so if however you can connect the local hd then you can pick up the major broadcast stations in your hdtv has qam tuner built into it it it can pick up the local hd will need to be 21 you can pick up the local.
For channels have digital cable think the port the port the money if youre going to both your hdtv has qam tuner built into the port the tv cable to upgrade your area fox hd then you have your subscription with comcast since you have to upgrade.
