How do I get my playstation 2 to work on my new HDTV?

I use to hook it up so it would work through my VCR and on channel 3. But now with HDTV I have to go to input and choose one of the many video options, but none work.

    The input that you plugged into.
    The back of the input it say where you plug it say where you plugged into.

    An output take notice of the back of your tv make sure you connected to an output take notice of the back of the input you use and then turn your tv make sure you now have playstation.
