A lot of visitors prefer Nassau, but I had the best time on Freeport. There were 2 main beaches; one that was on the Caribbean Sea and another, wilder Atlantic Ocean beach on the Lucayan side. On the road, within walking distance of our accommodations was the casino, the open air market and a variety of restaurants serving up some great food in an amazing environment.

On Nassau, aside from the many casinos you might want to check out the Blue Lagoon Island. Here you can play with the dolphins for a mind blowing experience that will stay with you forever. On the island of Freeport you can horseback on the beach with Trikk Pony Adventures. We booked a trip with them and had the time of our lives. I thought I had died and went to heaven! There are also nature tours, boats for rent and a myriad of watersports activities. Whether you are on land or out at sea, there is plenty to keep busy if you stay on the popular tourist islands or you may decide to stay on one of the smaller islands where sun bathing and lifting your drink are the activities of choice.
