I really need to lose weight fast

I’m sure you’re asking yourself why I’m suddenly thinking about losing weight fast. Here’s the story: last week I had a rare opportunity to climb a flight of stairs, and it did not end well. By the time I got myself up to the top, I was sweating profusely, coughing, my face was red, and I was in bad shape. I went into the bathroom to splash some cool water on my cheeks, and gazed up into the mirror, and then it hit me: I have to lose weight fast.

Actually, I actually feel like I’m becoming my dad. He was a ferociously fat man, with a warm sense of humor and a devout, pragmatic outlook on life. But I tell you, he was big. And these days I’m getting fat also. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my father, but I really really really would like to keep myself from reaching 300 pounds. Because once you reach a weight like that, there’s really just no going back.

So I’ve been doing a bunch of research on how to lose weight fat. My wife is on board with me now, telling me that she also wants to get thinner, which should definitely make it easier to succeed on whichever diet program we end up with. There’s an awful lot of different opinions on weight loss out there.

I’ll keep you guys in the loop about how well the plan to lose weight turns out for us. I know weight loss will be difficult, but it’s time to make it happen as far as I can tell, so I’m really going to be trying hard to learn how to lose weight fast.
