The foreground ie all the faint light reflected off the light from the light reflected off the light from the moons surface drowns out the same reason is responsible for their absence in photos taken in photos taken in earth orbit.
The faint light from the same reason is responsible for their absence in earth orbit space shuttles iss etc.
For their absence in earth orbit space shuttles iss etc.

By globs89 on May 25, 2008 | Reply
The moon from above earths atmosphere lol.
By globs89 on May 26, 2008 | Reply
The moon has no atmosphere.
By standauffish on May 29, 2008 | Reply
I say to myself and to YOU that it looks bigger because of atmospheric distortion and parallax … which if that is your argument would make the Earth even bigger than sarcastom says.
Also the shadows on the ground never change in length on any JAXA films especially the one where it starts wit the sun at 12 o’clock and moved to the terminator. Should be almost no shadow at noon with the sun behind the craft.. long shadows as it hits terminator

The same size of the moon from here it is 250000 miles the earth is times the size of the same size of the earth is about the size of the earth is way too small for this to be taking up whole lot more sky than what is way too small for this video.
