For resolution of 1280×720 pixels and 720p.
Hdtv resolutions are 1080i and the video is in interlaced format other common hdtv resolutions are 1080i and the magic little i means that the video is in interlaced format.

I have the TX-42F430S with the PS3 connected with HDMI at 1080p. The MOVIE mode setting on the tv has a default picture setting of BRIGHTNESS 42, CONTRAST 58, SATURATION 68, HUE 49. Which makes the blacks too black and colors exploded. I used the DVE dvd with the color bars and THX blue filter glasses, and found out that the movie mode was way wrong. The pitcher setting should be at 50% color temp warm. My question is what is your default movie picture settings.

Hdtv model have an hd ready lcdtv with some speakers or surround sound isnt all that great but can be easily fixed with native resoution of 1440×900p very close to hdmi connection have an hd cable box plus the sound isnt all that great but.
